Using our experience of two generations, we carefully select the best (rare in our times) naturally dried woods. Then we check in detail their native sonic characteristics as well as their correct weight, in order to recreate the sonic identity of this unique guitar type. We have spend a lot of time experimenting with some own ideas and we tried to improvise on more than 10 points of the body and neck construction and shape, resulting in an extremely comfortable and playable guitar.
To ensure the character and uniqueness of its sound, we work with some of the best magnet manufacturers, such as "FR pickups“, Lindy Fralin and Curtis Novakwho make magnets ειδικά για τις Dukas Guitarsbased on the characteristics we have chosen for the “Starlight“.

Pickups
The soul and character of an electric guitar is linked with its pickups. We give special attention to the personal needs and playing style of our customers in order to choose the right pickup set. The pickups are then made on order for Dukas guitars by top pickup makers such as Lindy Fralin, Curtis Novak and "FR pickups".
Hardware
After many years of tests and research we came to the conclusion that the best hardware parts such as tremolo units, bridges and tuning keys are made by Gotoh (made in Japan), GMI (made in Greece) and Mastery (made in USA). Their top quality provide to our guitars excellent functionality through the years while they add to their final tonal qualities.
