The Dukas “Alchemy” Model
Our "Alchemy" model comes from the blending of 2 different guitar model designs, combining many of their advantages and innovations.
This is definitely the most versatile model of the Dukas range. The options for "through-body" string system or a Duesenberg tremolo, can offer different sonic characteristics, so the player has options to create his personal sound and cover many different music styles.
Using the lightest materials, we pay special attention to every aspect of the body and neck shaping to provide unique comfort and playability to the "Alchemy".
For this model we exclusively use the tremolo unit and bridge from Mastery, in order to ensure tuning stability during excessive play.
The guitar comes fitted with our own specs pickups, in a variety of configurations, made on order by top pickup makers such as Lindy Fralin, Van Zandt and "FR pickups".
Body Contours
We provide you the option to choose the exact shape of the neck, fretboard radius, number and size of frets, type of inlays as well as the color and type of finish. In the end, your neck will be an extension of your hand.

Pickups
The soul and character of an electric guitar is linked with its pickups. We give special attention to the personal needs and playing style of our customers in order to choose the right pickup set.
For the Dukas "Alchemy" we use our own custom specs pickups custom wound by Harry Haussel and Van Zandt.
Hardware
After many years of tests and research we came to the conclusion that the best hardware parts such as tremolo units, bridges and tuning keys are made by Gotoh (made in Japan), GMI (made in Greece) and Mastery (made in USA). Their top quality provide to our guitars excellent functionality through the years while they add to their final tonal qualities.
