Dukas P Bass for Steve

We built a custom P-style bass with absolutely precise specifications, designed from the ground up for one goal: flawless tone with exceptionally low weight.

For the body, we carefully selected swamp ash and red alder, combining light weight with a rich, balanced, and dynamic character.

The result is an instrument that stands out both in terms of comfort and sonic identity.

The pickups were handcrafted by Harry Häussel, delivering clarity, punch, and a vintage character, while the Glockenklang electronics (active–passive) ensure absolute control and transparency in every setting.

The bridge and neck plate are by Halon, known for the precision and stability of their hardware.

The instrument is finished with a satin polyurethane finish, applied in thin layers to allow the wood to breathe and to maximize responsiveness.

The final weight? Just 3.9 kg — ideal for long playing sessions with no compromises.
